BRAWOLINER® Inhouse-rehabilitation

Trenchless rehabilitation provides a fast, cost effective, non invasive and durable rehabilitation option. This method works effectively on defective pipes inside walls such as downpipes and service laterals where leaking pipe connections often cause damp and subsequently mould in walls or slabs. Trenchless technology was specifically developed for buried pipes; in gardens or under buildings, or landlords do not want to disturb gardens, paving or permanent infrastructure.

BRAWOLINER® HT has been specially developed for domestic rehabilitation. It consists of the BRAWOLINER® HT liners and the special formulated BRAWO® HT-resin. Together with normal flammability German building materials class B2 and the dimensional stability under heat of over 93 °C the HT system offers the same advantages as the tried-and-tested BRAWOLINER® rehabilitation:

  • Complete rehabilitation from DN 50 to DN 300
  • Suitable for almost all damage profiles and all pipe materials
  • Up to 50% cheaper than the open construction method
  • Life expectancy of over 50 years

The BRAWOLINER® HT rehabilitation system meets all structural requirements and has the exacting DIBt approval for the rehabilitation of drainage systems within buildings.

Our research has shown that most of South Africa’s domestic drainage infrastructure is old, over loaded and vulnerable to leaks.

In most countries the total length of the private and industrial drainage system is much greater than the public sewage system. Long stretches of pipes are prone to leaks at joints or soil because soil density crush the pipe infrastructure. To prove that the overall condition of the drainage system is sound, a qualified dense test and pipe inspection would be required.

Exfiltration: Through defective pipes, wastewater can enter into the ground. The discharge of pollutants into the ground is illegal and contamination of soil and groundwater must be avoided.

Infiltration: If clean groundwater and rainwater enters faulty sewage pipes, it must be cleaned at the treatment plant as well and thus leads to the significant increase in sewage charges.
